About Budget Dashboard
A free personal budget tracker
Budget Dashboard turns your bank transactions into a clear picture of where your money goes. Import a CSV file from your bank, let categorisation rules sort your spending, and set monthly or yearly budgets. It is free, there are no ads, and it works in English, French and Portuguese.
What you can do
- Import bank CSV files, including RBC chequing, or add transactions by hand
- Sort spending automatically with your own categorisation rules, and create your own categories
- Set monthly and yearly budgets and see how much to save
- Track recurring bills and income, and savings goals
- Review a year of spending by category and month, and compare with the same month last year
- Back up and restore everything, or sync it between your devices
How it works
- Import. Paste or upload the CSV file from your bank, check the preview and press Import. Duplicates are skipped, and categories you choose are remembered for next time.
- Budget. Enter what you expect to spend on each category, monthly or yearly, and tick the categories that bring money in. The Budget page shows how much you should save.
- Review. The Dashboard shows spending by category, your budgets, alerts and recurring bills, and Review compares months and years.

Private by design
Your transactions, budgets and settings are stored in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, a copy is kept in your own Google Drive or OneDrive so your devices stay in step; we never receive it. Read the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
